As of January 1, 2019, AllWays Health Partners has selected Optum as our Behavioral Health administrator for all lines of business, including more than 100,000 Partners employees and their covered dependents. We thank you for your ongoing patience and support as AllWays Health Partners and Optum work together to improve the provider experience.

Over the last few weeks, we have received many questions from Behavioral Health providers, so we created this FAQ for you. Our shared goal is to provide exceptional customer service to all of you, and we hope this FAQ will help clarify many of your questions. If you have additional questions which are not answered below, please feel free reach out to:

Continuity of Care - Patient Request Form

AllWays Health Partners members and covered dependents who were previously receiving ongoing care for an unstable, unusual, or serious medical condition from a previously in-network provider who is not in the Optum network, may be eligible for the Continuity of Care program. If you are already in the network, no actions are required. 

For Partners Health Care Employees – Please direct your patients to call the AllWays Health Partners Customer service team to fill out a Continuity of Care Form. If the Continuity of Care request is approved, you or your covered dependent(s) may continue to receive care from an out-of-network provider for up to six months and have benefits paid at the in-network rate.

For all other Members: Members and their covered dependent(s) may continue to receive care from an out-of-network provider for up to three months and have benefits paid at the in-network rate. Non-Contracted providers should contact Optum to inform that you will be submitting claims for an AllWays Health Partners member.
